Our Lakewood Ranch Leadership Class is designed to help teens rise to responsibility and live out strong values. Through short Mat Chats, Scripture memory, and simple journaling prompts, they build belief, honesty, forgiveness, and self worth.

Students learn how to stay composed under pressure, communicate clearly, and set meaningful goals. These habits carry into school, home, and church.

Service challenges help teens practice what they learn in real life.

Absolutely not. At STEM Martial Arts, we use Christ-centered principles to teach discipline, respect, and self-control — the opposite of bullying. Do You Offer Adult Classes?

We do not currently offer adult classes. Our focus is on children, youth, and leadership development, allowing us to pour deeply into the next generation of confident, Christ-centered leaders.

Do You Accept Step Up For Students Scholarships?

Yes! STEM Martial Arts is an approved provider for Step Up For Students (PEP/FES-UA).

If you are a Step Up family:

You may still receive a reminder invoice until the payment has been received from Step Up.

Tuition must remain current for your student to stay enrolled and keep their class spot.

If you have funds set to expire soon, please reach out to us — we’ll help you make sure they are used in time.

Do You Offer Scholarships for Kids in Foster Care or Kinship Care?

Yes! Through our STEM Scholarship Program, children and teens in foster, adoptive, or kinship care can train tuition-free thanks to generous community donors and partners. To apply, complete the Scholarship Interest Form on our website. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to train, grow in confidence, and discover their God-given purpose.

Earning a black belt isn’t a race — it’s a journey of growth. Every student’s path is unique. Some advance quickly through consistent effort; others take more time to build coordination and focus.
