Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.

We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Mr. King

Founder + Chief Instructor 

Mr. John King is the Founder and CEO of STEM Martial Arts — a Christ-centered martial arts ministry dedicated to discipling the next generation through structure, leadership, and Biblical life skills.
With over 16 years of Taekwondo experience, John holds a 4th Level Instructor Certification, 2nd Level Krav Maga Instructor Certification, and a 3rd Degree Black Belt. He is also a two-time District Champion in Traditional Forms (2017 and 2019).
John’s journey began more than a decade ago when he and his two oldest sons started training together. What began as a family activity quickly grew into a calling — to use martial arts as a tool for transformation. Together, they’ve each earned their black belts, and through that shared journey, John discovered the deeper purpose behind the discipline: to help students grow in confidence, character, and faith.
Under his leadership, STEM Martial Arts has grown into more than a school — it’s a community where kids and teens are equipped to live out their faith with courage, consistency, and integrity. Each class is designed to develop not just physical skill but spiritual strength, helping students understand that their identity and worth come from Christ alone.
John’s passion for fitness, mentorship, and ministry continues to shape every aspect of STEM Martial Arts, ensuring that every student who walks through the door learns to kick with purpose — for God’s glory.

Mr. Levi

Assistant Instructor

Mr. Levi began training under Mr. King in May 2023 and quickly stood out for his dedication, focus, and desire to serve others. As an Assistant Instructor, he helps lead students through class with patience and enthusiasm, encouraging them to grow in both skill and character.
Levi’s leadership reflects the heart of STEM Martial Arts — using martial arts as a tool to build confidence, discipline, and a deeper walk with Christ.

Mr. Caleb

Assistant Instructor

Mr. Caleb joined STEM Martial Arts in September 2023 and has shown exceptional growth as both a student and leader. His positive attitude and commitment to excellence make him a strong example for younger students to follow.
As an Assistant Instructor, Caleb strives to create a fun and encouraging environment where students can strengthen their faith, develop life skills, and discover the purpose God has for them through martial arts.
